As previously told, we finally made it to the Bora Bora airport. Neither the Tahiti airport or the Bora Bora airport had air conditioning. It was a little miserable sitting in a cluster of people all carrying heavy baggage in 90 degree weather in a building that has no A/C. During our final descent we were told that a boat would have to take us where we were going next since the airport was on a small island; it seems like the transportation will never end. We were picked up by a large speed boat that whisked us away to the Hilton Bora Bora.

Our driver appeared to be racing against invisible boats. Thank goodness our camera is an underwater camera! |

One of many beautiful views |

Arriving at the resort. |
When we finally arrived, we had three hours to kill. We wandered around and found the spa, fitness center, relaxing overlook, and almost died of heart attacks. This area is not jean wearing weather, which we both were wearing, not to mention the giant hills, steep stairs, and humidity.

Winding paths connect all activity centers, restaurants and resort rooms/cabanas. |
Now that we are here and settled the relaxing can commence. As you can see, we have our work cut out for us though with so many places to relax. Victoria and I are considering snorkeling out past the buoys, that are suggestions for us not to go past, so we can try and make it to the sand bar. It doesn't look that far, but who wants to get hit by a boat.
Great pictures. I'm glad you're doing a blog.
